The scanned images on this site were originally created for internal use at the Nebraska State Surveyor's Office as an on-line source of information. The images were scanned to obtain the best compromise between the ability to read the image while retaining the smallest file size possible. Grayscale scans were avoided due to the large size of the files created. The images are quite legible, however there may be some information that is very hard or impossible to read. As updated images become available they will be included in this site.
